Job Summary
We seek an experienced, highly motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on individual to join our Experiential team during an exciting growth stage. The Account Director is an integral position on Multiplier’s Experiential Team, responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of various aspects of agency projects, from brief to execution. The Account Director will contribute to the department's operations, processes, budgeting (for live projects and pitches), agency quality control, and third-party vendor management, as well as developing the overall growth of the department.
Location
This is a remote position, but based on the type of work, regular travel will be required, including, but not limited to, visiting client offices, project site visits, and extended periods of time on site for project executions.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of medium/large-scale projects with support from the wider team and agency.
Multitasks and prioritizes work while coordinating with others to meet deadlines and project milestones.
Strategically plans workflows based on deliverables. Understands the nuances of how certain tasks affect others and prioritizes those items to keep projects moving along.
Able to efficiently and effectively move information around the project to keep the team on track.
Operates in an organized manner, even under tight deadlines.
Manage day-to-day client relationships, establish credibility, and anticipate client needs.
Balances workload of multiple projects, overseeing up to three activations at once.
Work in a collaborative manner with all teams to ensure flawless project delivery against the client’s objectives and agreed-upon budget.
Ensure projects are correctly budgeted for and meet expected financial targets.
Understand the landscape for each client’s business/sector and the context for their investments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
6-8 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or sports sponsorship
Proven track record of leading teams and delivering successful experiential projects
Excellent project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills
Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and partners
Knowledge of the latest trends in sports and culture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while working independently and collaboratively with various partners
Continuously demonstrates a solution-oriented mentality
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude at all times
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products and highly proficient in developing PowerPoint presentations
Experience working with Google productivity apps, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
Ability to travel (approximately < 25%)
