TRANSACTIONS OF THE FUTURE
J.P. Morgan Payments asked us to imagine the future of retail and biometric payments for an exclusive experience at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. To pull it off, we combined some of the most advanced technology on the market to create a cohesive experience that allowed guests to momentarily step into the future.
What kind of technology? Biometric palm scanners, magic mirrors to demonstrate the Endless Aisle, Digital Vending Machines, martini-serving robots, personalized lighting, and custom databases to track preferences. It was awesome.
We created demand with exclusive merchandise only available in our boutique, and it became the one item people had to get their palms on.
With the scan of their palm, guests were served their drink of choice by a robotic bartender at the Future Bar and accessed a customized shopping experience at the Future Boutique. These transactions took only a fraction of a second, and more than 7,000 palm scans occurred throughout the weekend.

LEGENDS OF THE DERBY
Factory8384’s bespoke “Legends of the Derby” sneaker collection premiered last weekend at Churchill Downs. The collection, composed of 13 custom-designed Nike Air Force 1s, celebrates the Triple Crown winners throughout Kentucky Derby history. The collection was born from co-founder Curtis Brown’s desire to honor his late father, Louis “Tige” Brown, and their shared love of the races.
Derby attendees had the chance to bid on the collection via silent auction, with winners receiving custom-sized shoes and a portion of the proceeds supporting The Secretariat Foundation. A trio of shoes will be auctioned off as a collector’s set through Sotheby’s, while the remaining ten will enrich the Kentucky Derby Museum as a permanent exhibit.
